Acrylic One is a water based resin system. The material does not contain any solvents. The thing that makes Acrylic One unique us the natural look which can be achieved. There are many materials which can be reproduced without any problem with Acrylic One. You can think about: sandstone slate, concrete or wood. The material can be pigmented or structured, just by adding pigments.

Acrylic One can be processed among many circumstances. Because it is a synthetic material it has a unlimited freedom in form. Even new kinds of stones and looks can be realised.

Acrylic One

Acrylic One is a two-component material and consists of a mineral powder and a water based acrylic resin. These bond and result in a very strong material. Acrylic One is environmentally friendly, non toxic, fire resistant and is easy to use.

There are several additives available for the enhancement of the Acrylic One process, for shortening or lengthening the processing time or for dilution or thickening of Acrylic One.

Important areas of application

• Architecture, indoor as well as outdoor
• Decorations and stage-setting
• Laminated panels
• Reproductions
• Moulding
• Model building
• Moulding constructions and supporting moulds
• Covering polystyrene

Environment friendly

There are no expensive adjustments needed in the working area to process Acrylic One. Tools can be cleaned with water. With it’s environmental friendly production and process Acrylic One fits perfectly into the latest trends in building. Acrylic One is also a durable material. Investigation by TNO Industries has shows a long life span of Acrylic One.

Safe at fire

You are right thinking about fire prevention in case of the use of synthetic material, but Acrylic One is different. The material can be used, without any problems in situations with the highest fire measurement precautions. Acrylic One has been tested according to all European norms and guidelines. Conclusion: it satisfies to B S1 d0. Also in safe passage spaces the material can be used in most of the cases, because there is no smoke development or even dripping of the material.

After a very long period of developing and testing, we have reached now a two component liquid system, which is easy to mill by CNC machines. It has a good heat resistance, is water based and zero VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). Also a coating system has been developed on which it is possible to make a mould with polyester or epoxy.

The Masterworks M2 system can be sprayed or applied as a putty with the same machine, only a small change in the recipe and the machine has to
be made.
